The Lana River runs for 8.6 km inside of Tirana municipality. It is the only water-axis in the city, with 3.5 km of built up concrete slopes and green plots along both sides.

About lanariver

I am the main stream that crosses through Tirana, the capital of Albania. My source is in the mountains east of Tirana. Although once clean, I now carry sewage. Before there were many buildings around and on the banks of the river, but they were torn down and removed.
